DANIEL SPASSOV

Daniel Spasov creative biography includes recordings of more than 350 folk songs on the Bulgarian National Radio, films on the Bulgarian National Television, four independent CDs. In 1994, his name was included in the world encyclopedia „Music of the World“ (London). For many years Daniel Spasov has been a soloist of the world-famous female folk choir „Le Mystere Des Voix Bulgares“. He has sung independently and as a soloist with choirs in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, Asia, America and Africa – Royal Festival Hall and Barbican Center (London), Kennedy Center (Washington), Concert House (Vienna), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam). In 2000, he participated as a soloist in the project “Vatican greets the world with the 21st century”. In 2011, together with the “Mystery of Bulgarian Voices”, he made recordings for BBC Radio (London). In 2012, Daniel Spasov, Milen Ivanov and monks from Tibet performed an impressive concert at the Berlin Philharmonic under the motto “Music from the Monasteries”. Daniel Spasov’s voice can be heard in many documentary films presenting the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage. In 2012, he received a special invitation to record part of the vocal music for the international film production “The Dervishes – Mystics of the East”.
Daniel Spasov also works as an executive producer of “Folklore Programs” at the Bulgarian National Television.
